Geoffrey Palmer is a vegan bodybuilder. Sometimes those two words (vegan and bodybuilder) don't seem like they go together since most of America thinks we get our protein from meat. Geoff has been doing this for 31 years and was vegan before it was "cool" to be vegan. With a degree in biopsychology and a passion for fitness, Geoff has created and trademarked some of the best muscle-promoting products on the market. He is the CEO and Founder of the Clean Machine line of products. The great thing about all of his products is that they are made from plants and make your body more efficient at digesting and using protein. Imagine having to drink less protein, but making it more efficient with essential digestive enzymes your body needs to do the work that it needs to do in order to optimize your nutrition! I learned more talking to Geoff than I have learned in quite a while on protein, how it works in the body and how to most effectively promote the growth of strong muscle tissue. Enjoy!

Today’s guest is Dr. Julian Maha, the Founder of one of the newest and best-reviewed non-profits in the United States, KultureCity. What does it mean exactly to be a best-reviewed non-profit? Every dollar and every experience that KultureCity raises or provides it tracked and directly related to the impact they have on serving their mission. They have already been recognized by Bill Gates and Microsoft as one of the top ten non-profits in the nation and at the time of this recording have impacted over 15,000 lives of those living with autism. Their mission is to help create a world where all individuals with autism and their families can be accepted and treated equally. I’m really excited for you to hear this podcast and challenge you to think while you're listening to Julian speak. What is the difference between sympathy and empathy? Which one do you have for those living with autism? If you can empathize, you can understand what someone with autism is going through because you have direct experience with it. If you can sympathize, you can still feel strongly for an individual and their family living with autism, but might not have direct experience with it. Whichever one you fall into, it is important to feel one of these two towards an individual or family living with autism, as it is truly the best way to live a life of compassion and understanding. Your compassion will help organizations like KultureCity be one step closer to world-wide acceptance of this often invisible disability. I hope you enjoy the show!

Peter Shankman is all over the place! Literally. The man flies 250,000 miles per year. On top of all the flying, book writing, keynote speaking, CNN television appearing and a whole lot more, Peter is first a foremost a husband and a father. He longs for the day that his little girl will be able to run in Central Park with him. As a native New Yorker, Peter takes great pride in his city. Not only does he run the New York City Triathlon each year, but he also serves as a major force for public relations and publicity around the world. He is a two-time Ironman Triathlon Triathlete, but has to go back and do a third because when race officials asked him what city he was in, he said "New York City." The only problem was...he was in Louisville. Listen to the podcast to learn more.
