Being a father of five children, ranging in age from 6-18 can be pretty tough on any dad, but Don Davey seems to tackle (pun intended) that and a whole lot more these days. Don is one of the greatest defensive linemen in NCAA College Football history and went on to play for the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars during a 9-year NFL career that he describes as "a unique combination of adrenaline-fueled nervousness, excitement, anticipation, elation, confidence and outright fear." In addition to his five daughters and wife, Don is an accomplished Ironman triathlete, having completed eight total Ironman races in the last ten years, with his most recent being the 2014 Ironman Championships in Kona, Hawaii. During our discussion, Don opens up about playing in the NFL, training for Ironman and most importantly, spending time with his family. A true IronDAD!

Quality sleep. We all need it. Even if it is just for an hour or so because you are feeding your baby every three hours, you definitely need sleep to be healthy. Only 3% of us are good to go on just six hours of sleep. This episode is not about how much sleep you should get, although it could be. This episode is more about making sure that your kids get enough sleep or at least stay in their bed long enough for you to get your quality sleep you need to help take care of them.
